In view of the success of the book Arthroscopy, the Francophone Society of Arthroscopy wished to address the joints in separate volumes in order to respond to changes in professional practices and questions from hyperspecialists. Hip Arthroscopy is part of this collection. Over the past few years, arthroscopy has established itself not only as an essential tool in conservative surgery, but also in painful hip prostheses. It has made it possible to better explore the native or prosthetic hip, to improve understanding of pathophysiology and to transform surgical techniques. This book takes stock of current arthroscopic treatments for the hip with a focus on: femoro-acetabular conflicts; synovial cartilage pathologies and acetabular labrum; hip micro-instability; tendon pathologies of the hip; painful hip prosthesis. The comprehensive content is enriched with illustrations and 25 videos in order to get as close as possible to the reality of the surgical procedure.
