The "Elsevier Atlas" collection provides an update on a pathology or technique, based on a rich and exemplary iconography, explained and commented on by the text. Retinal pathology is rich and varied. The diagnosis of fundus disorders is now based on multimodal imaging, which is constantly evolving. Current imaging is based on color and autofluorescence retinography, optical coherence tomography (OCT) often supplemented by OCT-angiography, fluorescein angiography and indocyanine green (ICG). Functional tests (visual field, electrophysiology, etc.) may prove essential for certain diagnoses. However, imaging should not be seen as a pile-up of examinations but as a reasoned choice. This work combines quality iconography, relevant to the diagnosis of each condition, and a synthetic text supplemented and enriched by figure legends.
